Asorcafe, founded in 2003, is an association based in Pedregal, Inza, with 290 small coffee-producing associates. They cultivate various coffee varieties such as Caturra, typical bourbon, pink bourbon, tabi, Colombia, and Castillo at altitudes ranging from 1500 to 2100 meters above sea level.
The coffee originates from Inzá, Cauca, known for its indigenous Guanaca tribe and Tierradentro burial sites. The coffee from Inzá boasts high acidity and sugarcane flavors due to volcanic soils near the Puracé Volcano, cultivated between 1800m and 2080m. Each grower's delivery undergoes cupping and analysis for traceability, resulting in a community lot with outstanding quality. Predominant varieties include Tabi, Colombia, Caturra, Castillo, and Pink Bourbon.
